Book NowWarhammer 40,000: Space Marine VR – Threat: Lethal drops your squad into the 41st millennium as the Adeptus Astartes. Strap in, grab your Bolter, and hold the line against relentless waves of Tyranids across multiple combat zones. This is Zero Latency’s toughest, most competitive mode — and it lives at Grid City VR in Westminster.
Threat: Lethal is the squad-survival evolution of Space Marine VR – Defenders of Avarax: same official Warhammer 40,000 universe, far less mercy. Difficulty scales to how well you fight, enemies flood faster with every zone, and the clock never stops.
Revive downed teammates, watch your friendly fire, and master crowd control with weaponry like the Plasma Incinerator and Pyreblaster. If the whole squad falls, the level resets and you go again. It’s full free-roam VR — no wires, no controllers in your lap, just you on your feet in the action.
Crews who’ve cleared Defenders of Avarax, competitive friend groups, and team-building squads who want a mission with real stakes. New to Warhammer VR? Start with Space Marine VR, then come back for the war.

A fun and highly unique experience. We brought our group to a VR escape room and had a blast. Staff is highly professional and the technology is pretty incredible. Fun for a really broad range of ages. We'll be back.

Took my dad here for Father's Day — we had an absolute blast in the VR Escape Room and the Racing Sim. The beer wall is a great touch as well. Appreciate that the staff was so kind, helpful, and understanding! Would definitely come back again!

Fabulous team and owner! I have a severe fear of zombies (panic attacks, hyperventilating, etc) and I wanted to face my fears. The team was so helpful and encouraging. I did not last very long but they were so supported during my trial that I planned to come back again! Maybe this time I will last more than three minutes!

The venue was very cool and the staff amazingly attentive. This was my first VR outside of a home setup and the quality was incredible. Would love to return soon!

Had an amazing time at Grid City VR. Check-in was super quick and easy since we filled out the waivers online ahead of time. The best parts were the Zero Latency VR experience and the racing simulators. The simulators are incredibly realistic and will humble you fast, but the staff took the time to help us get comfortable and improve. The Zero Latency experience was even better than I expected — you completely lose track of where you are and feel fully immersed. This is a great place for a group outing with friends, family, or coworkers. There's plenty of parking and lots of places to grab food nearby. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience in the Premium VR. It had full body tracking — "zero latency" — and was quite immersive. It prioritized free roam and dynamic environments over the standard stand-in-place VR, and was quite energizing.

Awesome place. Super cool and friendly staff. Somehow they had the wrong game for us loaded when we went, I think we couldn't switch it because it would take too long and there was another booking after, so we played through it. To make up for it they offered to stay open after hours and let us also play the original game we booked!! Amazing people and we will definitely be coming back to game some more!

Incredibly innovative social hub! I have been blown away by all the cool things this place offers, and the employees are some of the most professional and enjoyable people I have been around. 11/10 experiences consistently. If you're even remotely curious, come check it out. The owners, management, and staff really know how to take care of people and build a super fun environment! The beer is good too ;)
Everything squads ask before booking — from prep, to age limits, to what to bring.
Not at all. The controls are intuitive and the crew briefs you before you go in. Fans of the lore will spot the details, but anyone can jump straight into the fight.
Squads run 2–6 players in the same free-roam arena, so it’s great for friend groups, team outings, and competitive crews.
It's the most demanding mode in the lineup. Enemies come fast and relentless, the difficulty adapts to your squad, and one wipe sends you back to try again. Expect to sweat.
