Read the full FAQ

How can we book the venue for a group?

Two paths. Reserve part of the venue, like a Premium VR block, racing sims, lounge or event space, or take a full venue takeover for total privacy. Partial bookings share the venue with other guests unless exclusivity is agreed in writing.

Is there a deposit?

A 25% deposit locks in your date and time, and the balance is due 72 hours before the event. Larger private events and Venue Buyouts may be asked to settle in full before event day. Groups of 19 or more include a 20% service charge.

Is there a minimum spend?

Some dates, times, and spaces carry one, depending on group size, staffing, and how much privacy you want. The good news: VR sessions, sim racing, food, and beverage packages all count toward it. Any minimum is confirmed in writing with your quote.

When do you need our final headcount?

An estimate when you book, the final count 7 days out. It drives food, drink tickets, staffing, and the play schedule. Big last-minute jumps are hard to absorb, so flag changes early.

How do food and drinks work for groups?

Order food in from our vendors, Sarpino's Pizzeria and Salady, about a week ahead, or grab bar snacks on site. Outside food is not permitted, with one exception: cake is always welcome and we supply the plates, candles and cutter. For drinks, most hosts pre-buy drink tickets, one or two per guest, or set a hosted-bar budget on the self-serve taps with a cash bar after. Taps are 21+ with valid ID.

How do big groups rotate through the experiences?

VR arenas and racing sims run in timed sessions. For bigger crews we build a rotation schedule around your itinerary so everyone gets through multiple experiences without standing around.

Where is Grid City VR?

5700 W 89th Ave in Westminster, CO, about 15 minutes north of downtown Denver, with free on-site parking. An easy drive from Arvada, Broomfield, Thornton, and the whole north Denver metro.

What’s inside the venue?

6,000 sq ft with authorized Zero Latency Premium VR arenas, story-driven VR Adventures, pro 6-DOF racing sims, a self-serve tap house, and lounge space. Everything under one roof, all indoors.

How much does a group event cost?

It depends on the format. Single sessions book online from $42 a player. Squad Night bundles and Bach Dispatch run $89 per person with drinks and a host included, six player minimum. Kids parties are $150 plus $50 a kid, teens $200 plus $75. Mission Control corporate offsites are $195 plus $99 a guest for 2 hours, from $789. From 25 guests it becomes a Takeover of the whole venue, half day from $4,450 and full day from $10,900. Every rate shown is a weekday rate and weekends price higher. Send the form with your date and headcount and a real quote lands within 24 business hours.

Can we book a group event on short notice?

Often, yes. Weekdays are the most flexible, and smaller groups can usually lock in sessions just a few days out. Weekend evenings and full-venue dates get claimed earliest, so for a Friday or Saturday event give us as much lead time as you can.

The driving sims are the best in the country

This place was awesome! We booked the Warhammer zero latency VR for my son’s 16th birthday with five friends and they had a great time. The driving simulators are the best in the country. Lots of room to hang out for a party and a beer and wine Wall also.

First VR ever, and the staff was top tier

First VR experience ever and had so much fun! They hosted our group of 6 and the staff here is top tier — amazingly attentive, and knowledgeable about which games are best for first-timers versus more experienced players. Highly recommend you head over to grab a drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and play some games!

All types of games for all types of people

This place is amazing! My team came here for a team outing and the VR games challenged us with puzzles, had us work as a team to shoot down bad guys, and gave us a rush with car racing. This place has all types of games for different kinds of people!

Our bachelor trip had a blast

Went with a group of guys as part of our bachelor trip and had a BLAST. A lot of us were Warhammer fans and the VR game of that was so much fun. All of the staff were super friendly and very quick to help. Only regret is I don't live here to come back soon.
