When does Jumanji: The Lost Levels come out?
Friday, December 4, 2026. Zero Latency announced the worldwide release date on August 18, and the game opens on December 4 at Zero Latency venues around the world, Grid City VR included. Here, release day is a launch party for the first 100 on the waitlist, who can bring guests to the party, and general booking opens after that.
What is Jumanji: The Lost Levels?
A multiplayer free-roam virtual reality adventure that Zero Latency built in collaboration with Sony Pictures. It is set in the Jumanji universe and playable only at Zero Latency venues. For about 30 minutes, your squad of 2 to 6 moves through a real arena in wireless headsets, outrunning rhinos, dodging ostriches, climbing, swimming and staying one step ahead of the tigers.
Do you need a controller for Jumanji VR?
No. There is nothing to hold. For the first time in a Zero Latency game, there are no controllers, no buttons and no peripherals: you wear the wireless headset and the system reads your actual hands. Reach out, grab, throw, push. Wave your crew through. Zero Latency calls it “the most instinctive and accessible experience” it has ever built.
That is the part that changes who plays. For some parents and grandparents, the controller is what keeps them out of VR. Take it away and there are no controls to explain to someone who has never played a game. Zero Latency says there is no learning curve.
Who is Jumanji VR for?
Families, first-timers and anyone who grew up on Jumanji. In a June 2026 survey of 2,386 adults in five countries, including the US, Zero Latency found that 60% now visit location-based entertainment with family. Zero Latency's biggest single group of visitors is aged 35 to 44: people it describes as having seen the original Jumanji in theaters as kids. Now they get to step inside it.
How do I get one of the first 100 spots?
Join the free Jumanji VR waitlist with your name and email. A phone number for text updates is optional. The first 100 people on the list each get a tier:
- 10 play free.
- 40 play at half price (50% off).
- 50 play at the founding price: 30% off, locked in for launch night.
We draw the tiers at random on December 3, and every name in the first 100 has the same odds. Everyone in the first 100 hears their tier that day and redeems it at the launch party on December 4. No purchase necessary to join or to be drawn. The list does not close at 100: anyone who joins after that goes on standby and is first to hear when general booking opens.

No. The movie is Jumanji: Open World, opening in US theaters on Friday, December 25, 2026. The Lost Levels is its own VR adventure set in the Jumanji universe, and it arrives three weeks earlier, so the first 100 at Grid City play it before the movie is out. And when the movie does open, there is a theater a block from the venue.
Where can I play Jumanji VR near Denver?
At Grid City VR, 5700 W 89th Ave, Westminster, Colorado 80031, an authorized Zero Latency venue about 15 minutes north of downtown Denver. About 30 minutes in the headset. Arrive 15 minutes early: check-in, the safety brief and the headset fit all happen before your session starts. The self-serve tap house (21+) is right there for the debrief.

Closed-toe shoes and clothes you can move in. Glasses fit under the headsets, and every headset is sanitized before and after each use. There is no gear to carry: you wear the wireless headset, and your hands do the rest.
