The zombie apocalypse hits the mall — free-roam co-op VR near Denver. Mutant hordes, collapsing floors, pure chaos: the fun-first sequel to Outbreak. 2–6 players.
Book NowOutbreak 2: Mall Mayhem takes the infection from the original Outbreak and lets it loose somewhere worse: a shopping mall packed wall to wall with mutant zombies. It's havoc. It's mayhem. It's an end-of-the-world sale where everything's got to go — including the horde between you and the exit.
Where the first Outbreak was a slow-burn horror hunt, the sequel turns the dial to chaos. Spitters, spewers, boomers — the deeper you push into the mall, the bigger and meaner the mutations get. And the mall itself fights back: shattering floors, falling ceilings, and burning corridors turn every storefront into an obstacle course of glass and fire.
More comedy than nightmare, more mayhem than dread — it's the zombie game for squads who want to laugh while they survive. Squad up at Grid City in Westminster, just north of Denver.

A fun and highly unique experience. We brought our group to a VR escape room and had a blast. Staff is highly professional and the technology is pretty incredible. Fun for a really broad range of ages. We'll be back.

Took my dad here for Father's Day — we had an absolute blast in the VR Escape Room and the Racing Sim. The beer wall is a great touch as well. Appreciate that the staff was so kind, helpful, and understanding! Would definitely come back again!

The staff was incredibly accommodating and offered a free ride on their racing rig! The experience itself is like nothing I’ve seen before, with tons of space and no worries about falling down. 10/10!

If you're in the mood to blast zombies or swarms of tyranids, I highly recommend the experience. The fully immersive VR experience is better than being there because you don't get hurt AND don't get motion sick. We ran the Warhammer 40k sim and the Mall Madness zombie attack. The first was awesome, while the second was chaotic and fun. I also appreciated the friendly staff.

Fabulous team and owner! I have a severe fear of zombies (panic attacks, hyperventilating, etc) and I wanted to face my fears. The team was so helpful and encouraging. I did not last very long but they were so supported during my trial that I planned to come back again! Maybe this time I will last more than three minutes!

The venue was very cool and the staff amazingly attentive. This was my first VR outside of a home setup and the quality was incredible. Would love to return soon!

Had an amazing time at Grid City VR. Check-in was super quick and easy since we filled out the waivers online ahead of time. The best parts were the Zero Latency VR experience and the racing simulators. The simulators are incredibly realistic and will humble you fast, but the staff took the time to help us get comfortable and improve. The Zero Latency experience was even better than I expected — you completely lose track of where you are and feel fully immersed. This is a great place for a group outing with friends, family, or coworkers. There's plenty of parking and lots of places to grab food nearby. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience in the Premium VR. It had full body tracking — "zero latency" — and was quite immersive. It prioritized free roam and dynamic environments over the standard stand-in-place VR, and was quite energizing.
Everything squads ask before booking — from prep, to age limits, to what to bring.
Other way around — it trades the original's slow-burn horror for over-the-top mayhem. The mutants are wild and the action is relentless, but the tone is closer to a zombie comedy than a nightmare.
No — the story stands on its own. If you have played the original you'll catch the nods, and going back-to-back makes a great double feature.
Squads of 2–6 share the same free-roam arena. It's built for crews — the global leaderboard makes every run a score battle.
