Warhammer 40,000 free-roam VR near Denver. Become an eight-foot supersoldier and hold the line against endless Tyranid swarms with your squad of 2–6.
Book NowWarhammer 40,000: Space Marine VR – Defenders of Avarax turns you into an eight-foot supersoldier engineered for one purpose: war. Built with Games Workshop and exclusive to the Zero Latency network, it drops your squad into the biggest world Zero Latency has ever made — and Grid City VR is where you play it in Colorado.
This isn’t a headset-on-a-couch port. Defenders of Avarax is a fully licensed Warhammer 40,000 experience where you suit up as an Adeptus Astartes Space Marine and walk — actually walk — through the hive city of Fervastium. You’ll descend into a sealed vault, wield weapons from your Chapter’s arsenal, and hold the line against endless Tyranid swarms across cathedral-scale arenas and colossal alien megastructures.
Coordinate suppressing fire, push through three escalating combat zones, and choose your challenge: Normal for action-packed fun, or Hardcore for the fearless — manual reloads, friendly fire, and relentless foes.
When your squad is ready for the real test, step up to Threat: Lethal — the wave-survival Warhammer 40K mode with revives, friendly fire, and a difficulty curve that punishes sloppy squads.
For the Emperor. Rally your squad at Grid City VR in Westminster — free-roam Premium VR, 15 minutes north of Denver.

A fun and highly unique experience. We brought our group to a VR escape room and had a blast. Staff is highly professional and the technology is pretty incredible. Fun for a really broad range of ages. We'll be back.

Took my dad here for Father's Day — we had an absolute blast in the VR Escape Room and the Racing Sim. The beer wall is a great touch as well. Appreciate that the staff was so kind, helpful, and understanding! Would definitely come back again!

Fabulous team and owner! I have a severe fear of zombies (panic attacks, hyperventilating, etc) and I wanted to face my fears. The team was so helpful and encouraging. I did not last very long but they were so supported during my trial that I planned to come back again! Maybe this time I will last more than three minutes!

The venue was very cool and the staff amazingly attentive. This was my first VR outside of a home setup and the quality was incredible. Would love to return soon!

Had an amazing time at Grid City VR. Check-in was super quick and easy since we filled out the waivers online ahead of time. The best parts were the Zero Latency VR experience and the racing simulators. The simulators are incredibly realistic and will humble you fast, but the staff took the time to help us get comfortable and improve. The Zero Latency experience was even better than I expected — you completely lose track of where you are and feel fully immersed. This is a great place for a group outing with friends, family, or coworkers. There's plenty of parking and lots of places to grab food nearby. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience in the Premium VR. It had full body tracking — "zero latency" — and was quite immersive. It prioritized free roam and dynamic environments over the standard stand-in-place VR, and was quite energizing.

Awesome place. Super cool and friendly staff. Somehow they had the wrong game for us loaded when we went, I think we couldn't switch it because it would take too long and there was another booking after, so we played through it. To make up for it they offered to stay open after hours and let us also play the original game we booked!! Amazing people and we will definitely be coming back to game some more!

Incredibly innovative social hub! I have been blown away by all the cool things this place offers, and the employees are some of the most professional and enjoyable people I have been around. 11/10 experiences consistently. If you're even remotely curious, come check it out. The owners, management, and staff really know how to take care of people and build a super fun environment! The beer is good too ;)
Everything squads ask before booking — from prep, to age limits, to what to bring.
Not at all. It's an official Warhammer experience fans will love, but the action stands on its own. You become a Space Marine and fight off alien swarms with your squad.
Normal is action-packed fun for everyone. Hardcore adds manual reloads, friendly fire, and tougher enemies for squads who want a real test.
It's set in the largest free-roam environment Zero Latency has ever built, fully cable-free so you move with your whole body.
At Grid City VR in Westminster, CO — about 15 minutes from downtown Denver. Authorized Zero Latency free-roam VR — no wires, full body tracking. Walk-ins welcome, or book online.
$52 per player for a 30-minute session (2–6 players). Book online at gridcityvr.com.
